Title Pre-Sales: Infrastructure Security ArchitectWe are looking to appoint a highly experienced and technically adept Pre-Sales Infrastructure Security Architect to join our team. This role involves working closely with prospective and existing clients to understand their security needs and design tailored infrastructure security solutions. In addition to providing technical expertise and support during the sales process, you will offer advisory services to guide clients in optimizing their security posture and strategy. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with leading security technologies and frameworks and will be skilled in delivering strategic guidance and recommendations.Key Responsibilities:Customer Engagement:

  • Engage with clients to gather detailed requirements and understand their infrastructure security challenges and goals.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of client environments to identify security gaps and propose solutions that address their specific needs.
Solution Design and Presentation:
  • Develop and present customized security solutions and architecture designs that align with customer requirements and industry best practices.
  • Lead technical demonstrations, proof of concepts (POCs), and presentations to highlight the benefits and capabilities of our infrastructure security solutions.
Technical Support and Expertise:
  • Provide expert technical guidance and support throughout the sales cycle, ensuring that proposed solutions meet the clients infrastructure security needs.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create and deliver detailed technical proposals, including architecture diagrams, security designs, and solution documentation.
Advisory Services:
  • Offer strategic advisory to clients on best practices, security strategies, and infrastructure optimization.
  • Provide recommendations on security posture improvements and future technology investments to align with industry trends and client objectives.
Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including IT managers, security architects, and decision-makers.
  • Address and resolve technical questions, concerns, and objections from clients to facilitate successful sales engagements.
Market and Product Knowledge:
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging threats, and advancements in infrastructure security technologies.
  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of our product offerings, including relevant vendors and technologies, to effectively position our solutions.
Collaboration and Coordination:
  • Work closely with internal teams, including product management, engineering, and support, to ensure alignment on customer requirements and successful solution delivery.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams based on customer interactions to influence product development and improve solution offerings.
Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, solution designs, and sales activities in CRM systems.
  • Prepare and deliver regular updates and reports on pre-sales activities, customer feedback, and sales pipeline progress.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security with a focus on infrastructure security and pre-sales support. Demonstrated experience in providing advisory services to clients is required.
  • Skills:
  • Expertise in designing and presenting infrastructure security solutions for enterprise environments.
  • Strong knowledge of security technologies, frameworks, and best practices, including familiarity with vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, CrowdStrike, and Trend Micro.
  • Proficiency in security devices, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach.
  • Proven experience in providing strategic advisory and recommendations to clients.
Preferred Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, CrowdStrike, and Trend Micro technologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud security solutions and hybrid infrastructure environments.
  • Familiarity with scripting or automation for security solutions.
Work Environment:
  • This position requires travel to customer sites and may require working outside normal business hours to meet customer needs. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
