We are looking for dynamic people to join our team.Reports To: Principal or Assistant PrincipalPurpose of Role:SPARK Schools Math teachers drive student achievement by maintaining high expectations for classroom culture, behaviour, and academic growth for all students.SPARK Schools Maths teachers are Foundation Phase specialists, who receive on-going professional developmentcustomised for their past experience and individual needs.The Foundation Phase Math Teachers are integral to the SPARK Schoolsxe2x80x99 xe2x80x9cculturexe2x80x9d and our commitment to rigorous, engaging learning experiences for our scholars.Responsibilities:xe2x97x8f Plan for and be prepared to deliver lessons to studentsxe2x97x8f Provide instruction in a variety of subjects and reach students with engaging lessonplans and resources.xe2x97x8f Collaborate with grade level and content area partners to develop rigorous, engaging learning experiences and to createindividualised behaviour and learning plans for all students in class face to face or online.xe2x97x8f Lead weekly SEL (Social Emotional Learning) circles and implement SPARK SchoolsSocial Emotional Learning curriculum.xe2x97x8f Use SPARK culture and implement behaviour management strategies.xe2x97x8f Administer weekly and termly assessments to track student progress and analyse thedata for student growth.xe2x97x8f SPARK Educators should have a core focus on student achievement and should driveall scholars to meet the required proficiency ratings.xe2x97x8f Submit student results data when required.xe2x97x8f Attend pre-service professional development before the school year begins and attendweekly professional development and any other training interventions.xe2x97x8f Communicate professionally and effectively with colleagues, parents and otherstakeholders.xe2x97x8f Conduct self in a professional manner at all SPARK Schools events and to allstakeholders.xe2x97x8f Nurture a high achieving work environment where all students feel genuinely valued andsupported.xe2x97x8f Attend Saturday events and parent community meetings.xe2x97x8f Implement strategies implemented by the Crisis Management team.xe2x97x8f Adhere to the child protection, anti-bullying and health and safety policy.xe2x97x8f Promote the vision and mission of SPARK Schools to staff, scholars, families, and thegreater communityRequirementsQualifications and Criteria:The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:xe2x97x8f B.Ed. degree or PGCE. Foundation Phase.
