If so, we want to hear from you!Our growing Education team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal Consultant, who will play a key leadership role, driving strategic initiatives, leading business development efforts, and overseeing quality program delivery.About the Role:Currently, Genesis fast growing education portfolio has two service lines and a parallel fast-track initiative. The service lines are in K12 (primary and secondary education) while the fast-track initiative is an accelerated way to halve the number of unenrolled pre-primary children in 2-3 countries in the next 5 years. This role will be pivotal in leading the exciting and ambitious transition of the Education team - working closely with existing senior leadership, and taking ownership and direction of some of the key areas, including:?Review, refine and implement a Young World education strategy aligned with Genesis' values and focused on achieving tangible results.?Shape and mentor a high-performing team of education specialists.?Conceive, secure funding for, and lead the execution of impactful consulting projects in education.?Enhance and foster strategic partnerships and stakeholder collaboration.This is an important time to join the Genesis team and help us shape our team and continue to deliver impact. The additional role is created in recognition of the following factors:?Expectation of further fast growth within the next 3-5 years, both in terms of team size and technical specialisations?Managing different activity streams: small and large projects, diversification of portfolio and funders, pro-active approaches (eg with Foundations) and fast-track initiatives?The need for senior level education programme leadership as our project portfolio grows?A requirement to develop and mentor new joiners to these service linesYou will be responsible for:?Strategy Development & Implementation:

• Develop comprehensive educational development strategies aligned with wider Genesis strategy, analysis of the market and best practices.
• Translate strategies into actionable plans, setting clear objectives and monitoring progress.
• Stay current on emerging trends in education and translate them into innovative solutions for our clients which lead to improved outcomes.
• Understanding traditional markets while generating pro-active ideas and approaches to meet Young World educational needs.
• Build strategic horizontal partnerships within the education sector to extend the reach of Genesis into new lines of work
• Monitoring and measuring the impact of our work.

?Team Co-Leadership:

• Mentoring key personnel within a growing education team.
• Making decisions with the Senior Leadership Team about further specialisation and service line establishment in Genesis education portfolio
• Fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Contributing to the development of thought leadership materials on education.
• Foster the culture of integrity, collaboration, and respect.

?Entrepreneurship & Business Development:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the education sector across both reactive and proactive activity systems, including both responding to RFPs (both large and small) as well as stimulating funders and clients in the ecosystem to try new approaches.
• Develop compelling proposals and presentations to win new clients and projects.
• Co-create opportunities to work together with those in positions to deliver impact
• Represent Genesis, build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and play a thought leadership role in the education community.
• Contribute to the overall growth and financial health of the Education services lines and fast-track programmes

?Program Delivery Leadership:

• Lead project teams in the successful delivery of educational development programmes.
• Maintain high level relationships with donors and clients that enhance Genesiss global reputation
• Direct and oversee project budgets and timelines to ensure efficient and effective programme execution.
• Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior consultants on the team.
• Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
• Presenting findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
