Principal Professional Officer - Process Engineer



Requirements



A relevant BSc or B.Eng Degree qualification in Engineering

(Chemical, Mechanical, Wastewater or Environmental



Engineering)



Registration with South African Council for the Project and

Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP)



(advantageous)



Post Graduate Qualification in Project Management

(advantageous)



Pr. Eng. Professional Registration (essential) 8 years relevant experience as per KPA's below A valid drivers' license Exposure to a Waste Management environment will be

advantageous



Key Performance Areas



Ensuring that design infrastructure (leachate and ancillary) is in

accordance within engineering codes and standards



Undertaking the activities associated with project management in

the delivery of operations and maintenance of leachate and



ancillary infrastructure and other tasks, to the required



specifications and within budget



Undertaking the implementation and commissioning of leachate

treatment infrastructure projects



Planning, implementation and managing of operational contract

(funded from OPEX), with a focus on leachate treatment plant



and associated processes



Directing and controlling the outcomes associated with the

utilization, productivity and performance within the Leachate



Treatment Plant



Undertaking the liaison with stakeholders in order to optimize the

governance, interaction and communication with stakeholders



Conducting research and undertaking ongoing study of relevant

innovations and development



Financial and Risk Management Office management, correspondence and document

management
