Closing on: Feb 24, 2025About the RoleOur client is looking for an experienced Senior Risk Manager to join their team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our company operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations. You will be responsible for identifying risks, implementing risk management strategies, and supporting various departments in maintaining a secure and well-controlled business environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Risk Management:

  • Implement and oversee the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF) to ensure company-wide compliance.
  • Identify potential risks and ensure processes align with company policies.
  • Monitor risk appetite and make recommendations to senior management.
  • Work with different departments to develop risk mitigation strategies and prevent surprises.
  • Provide guidance on compliance and risk-related policies.
  • Track and resolve audit findings in collaboration with responsible teams.
  • Ensure risk events and losses are properly recorded and addressed.
Business Continuity Management (BCM):
  • Oversee and manage the Business Continuity Plans (BCP) to ensure readiness for unexpected events.
  • Conduct regular BCM training and testing to ensure staff preparedness.
  • Act as the central contact for all BCM-related matters.
  • Ensure timely updates and align BCM plans with company policies.
Data & Records Management and Data Privacy:
  • Manage company-wide data privacy and records management in line with legal and company standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Data Protection Policies and industry regulations.
  • Work with teams to resolve data-related compliance issues.
  • Act as the key contact for Data Privacy Office communications.
Risk Reporting:
  • Design and implement risk reporting processes for management and governance committees.
  • Provide accurate and timely risk data to senior management.
  • Offer insights and recommendations on risk trends and emerging threats.
  • Monitor key risk indicators and ensure they align with business goals.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, ensuring risk management is integrated into business decisions.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Internal Audit, Compliance, and Group Risk, to enhance risk governance.
  • Drive risk management improvements through digital solutions and automation.
  • Lead and mentor teams to strengthen company-wide risk awareness and compliance.
What We're Looking For:
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Audit, Business Management, Risk Management, or related field. (Honours degree preferred)
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in risk management, compliance, or auditing within a corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of operational risk, compliance frameworks, and industry regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex projects.
  • Strong problem-solving, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Data Privacy Regulations is advantageous.
