Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP Developer with extensive experience in SAP development, software architecture, and solution design. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAPUI5 development, SAP S/4HANA, and oData services, along with a proven track record of successfully implementing and enhancing SAP modules. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP development methodologies and hands-on experience with business process analysis, configuration, and programming.Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse business requirements to determine system configuration, programming, reporting, security, and role needs.

• Develop and implement SAPUI5-based applications in SAP environments.

• Design and develop high-quality software architectures and solutions aligned with SAP best practices.

• Perform thorough testing and debugging to ensure the stability and efficiency of SAP applications.

• Develop, maintain, and optimize oData services for seamless integration with SAP systems.

• Collaborate with functional teams to provide technical expertise and support in SAP implementation and enhancement projects.

• Ensure compliance with SAP development standards, security protocols, and quality assurance guidelines.

• Provide technical documentation, training, and support to stakeholders as needed.

RequirementsQualifications & Experience:Mandatory Requirements:

• SAP Developer Certification (specific to relevant development areas).

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on SAP development experience.

• Strong proficiency in SAPUI5 development and oData services.

Preferred Requirements:

• Extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA development and architecture.

• Prior work experience with the City of Cape Town is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of and experience in online applications will be advantageous.

• It is strongly recommended that the candidate resides in Cape Town.
