Print Management Artwork Specialist (packaging)

Job Description
Strong background in packaging artwork, print set-up and pre-press processes.
Understanding of managing the packaging artwork with a specific understanding of legislative & regulatory requirements across multiple African markets being a bonus.
Extensive experience in litho print with an eye for detail and compliance and also a proficiency in the Adobe Suite, CorelDRAW, InDesign and Illustrator and other relevant design tools.
Repro work & set-up
Prepare high-quality print-ready files for litho, flexo & digital printing
Optimise artwork for different printing partners and/or substrates
Develop, adapt & finalise packaging artwork to align with country specific regulatory & legal compliance
Ensure all print-ready artwork adheres to brand standards, packaging guidelines and of critical importance to different printing partners.
Liaising with print suppliers to ensure technical accuracy & quality control
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years experience in packaging artwork and pre-press print setup.
- Relevant Qualifications
- Strong background in litho printing, flexo and print production process
- Must love colours
- Prior experience working on FMCG packaging projects
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Suite (Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, CorelDraw)
Ability to troubleshoot pre-press issues and able to work under pressure
Excellent time management skills
