Our client, an International Mining Company, is seeking an experienced Process Engineer with expertise in concentrator plants to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in focusing on equipment selection, technical specifications, process flows, and control velocities. Your hands-on experience with commissioning activities will be essential, as you will be deeply involved in the successful materialization of projects from concept to completion. • Responsible for equipment selection, technical specifications, process flows, and control velocities.
• Expected to have experience in commissioning activities alongside detailed involvement in project materialization.
• Functions as a pivotal role in ensuring that the right processes are designed, and the appropriate equipment is procured to meet project specifications.
• Requires individuals with extensive project field experience rather than production-related backgrounds, emphasizing a focus on project design and equipment performance.

Requirements:

• Degree in Extractive Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• 5 years' experience in a similar position and work environment of which 2 years should have been on Senior Management level.
• Minerals Processing background and knowledge.
• Contractor Management experience will be advantageous.
• Good data analytical skills & floatation experience.
• Understanding of Process Plant Control Elements i.e. Control & Operating philosophy, Control logics, Functional specifications, Control system architect.
• Commissioning knowledge i.e. Commissioning Management Plan, Commissioning Execution Plan, Commissioning Strategy Outline, Hazop (Pre-commissioning Hazop).
