Job Description
Do you have a passion for water treatment and extensive experience in the mining and industrial sectors?Our client, a leading consulting firm, is seeking a highly motivated Process / Chemical Design Engineer to join their Water Treatment Process Engineering Division.In this senior role, you will play a key role in:
- Designing, drawing, and monitoring water treatment projects for mining and industrial clients.
- Leading the execution of engineering projects through technical studies and process design.
- Supporting the development of closure water treatment strategies and cost estimates.
- Identifying water savings opportunities and developing solutions.
- Providing technical expertise and analysis to clients on water treatment projects.
- A relevant degree (BEng or BSc) in Chemical Engineering with 10-15 years of experience in water treatment and process design.
- Professional Regsitration with ECSA (Pr.Eng)
- Familiarity with water treatment technologies like RO and UF.
- Proficiency in engineering software like Aspen HYSYS.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- The ability to travel extensively within South Africa and Africa.
