To create and manage drawings utilizing Autodesk Software and ensuring its compliance with ISO Standards. 2. Collaborating with various teams internal and external to conceptualize and develop efficient manufacturing processes that align with product specifications and quality standards. 3. Conducting detailed analysis and simulations to optimize existing processes, aiming to minimize waste, reduce cycle times, and improve overall productivity. 4. Implementing robust quality control measures to ensure that products meets quality standards and customer requirements. 5. Identifying cost-effective solutions and strategies to optimize manufacturing operations without compromising product quality and/or safety. 6. Maintaining accurate documentation of processes, procedures, and design changes. This would include Process and Instrumentation diagram, work instructions, process flow diagrams and procedures. 7. Provide guidance and assistance to personnel in repair, installation, maintenance and operation of machines / processes. 8. Initiating and leading continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma projects to drive operational excellence and innovation within the manufacturing environment. 9. Provide direct assistance and support to Maintenance to resolve mechanical related breakdowns in the manufacturing environment, and to improve the design to prevent breakdown from reoccurring. 10. Assist with the design of Mechanical systems or modification thereof to automate manufacturing processes or to increase its efficiency. 11. Provide technical support in developing and improving processes within a team environment 12. Coordinate with the manufacturing team to ensure design intent and cost effectiveness of production. 13. Establish Technical manuals, drawings, work instructions, reports, training documentation, preventative maintenance plans and troubleshooting guides for existing and newly established Machines/ Processes and general plant equipment. 14. Ability to self-direct on projects from conceptualization to finish 15. Must have sound Mechanical knowledge of machines and systems to be able to operate and assist the team. 16. To be fully integrated within the department to understand the workings of various raw materials to play a fundamental part in the Research and Development team that looks into alternative raw materials and products.Desired Experience & QualificationDegree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Autodesk Inventor and Vault for drawing management and creation. Experience in Job Advertised: 5-10 years experience in the Manufacturing environment with qualification as mentioned above. Proven track record regarding Autodesk Inventor / Vault experience. Training certification regarding Autodesk would be advantageous. Other Advanced knowledge in processes design flow and principles, process improvement and implementation as well as a thorough understanding of all the aspects of Project Management. Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma to optimize the manufacturing process. Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities Must have a proven track record with regards to the design, development and management of systems / Projects. Familiar with Health Safety and Environmental regulations applicable to manufacturing processes.Package & RemunerationR50K to R60K Basic plus Medical aid and PensionDegree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
