RPO Recruitment is currently working with a leading mining company in the Northern Cape who is seeking a highly skilled Process Manager to join their team. Our client is committed to maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and environmental sustainability in their mining operations.Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the overall process operations of the mining site.
• Implement, monitor, and maintain process improvement strategies to optimize productivity, efficiency, and resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with relevant mining regulations, safety guidelines, and environmental policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address process-related issues and challenges.
• Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.
• Lead and mentor a team of process engineers and technicians.
• Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices in mining process management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field.
• Management Development Programme
• MBA or equivalent qualification is recommended
• 10 years experience in a production environment
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role within the mining industry, in surface plant processing.
• Proven experience & knowledge in Rail/Road Ore Transportation including legislations.
• Ability to hold Section 3.1(a) of MHSA Legal appointment
• Strong knowledge of mining processes and operations.
• Experience in implementing and managing process improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with relevant mining regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
