The Groups key business segments are Manufacturing and Commercial Pharmaceuticals comprising Regional Brands and Sterile Focus Brands. Objective: To ensure GDP and GWP compliance for all Warehouse and Distribution processes. Monitor adherence to guidelines, procedures and document controls. Deliver expected quality assurance and operational targets as per the business requirements. Assume pharmaceutical responsibility for warehouse processes. Serve as the deputy Responsible Pharmacist.

Responsibilities: Verify orders, attach data loggers and generate relevant reports and analysis.

  • Manage quarantine shipments.
  • Oversight of Export process
  • Manage permit process for export items.
  • Manage fridge line items.
  • Perform internal /external audits and follow up on closure of findings.
  • General oversight of complete flow of Finished goods from receipt to dispatch
  • Assist with ordering and control of non-production spend items.
  • Ensure pharmaceutical control and compliance in the warehouse functions related to Credit Returns, destruction, non-conforming stock and with on site courier.
  • Ensure that products are correctly handled, stored and transactions recorded in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate incidents that have resulted in non-conformance and customer complaints.
  • Pharmaceutical oversight of the sample process
  • Perform reconciliation of data in situations such as short supplies and recalls.
  • Follow up on all queries and resolve them in the shortest possible timeframe within the policy framework.
  • Display a professional attitude when responding to customer needs.
  • Update internal and external customers constantly as to the progress of their queries.
  • Update SOPs timeously as per the review period to reflect current document control practices.
  • Ensure timeous completion of all relevant documentation and ERP transactions as required.
  • Request documentation and follow up on all outstanding documentation.
  • Collate information and data for monthly statistics.
  • Log/Monitor deviations, CAPAs and change control requests, perform root cause analysis and closure of actions.
  • Conducting regular meetings with internal customers to ensure quality and due dates performance.
  • Perform functions related to validation and temperature mapping.
  • Assist QAM with Distribution quality queries.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
  • BPharm degree is mandatory
  • Registration with Pharmacy Council
  • 2- 5 years related work experience
  • Pharmaceutical Industrial/ Distribution experience would be an advantage.
  • Flexible to overtime requirements
KNOWLEDGE
  • Knowledge of Regulatory and Pharmaceutical requirements, GMP, Product and Process knowledge
