DescriptionPurpose Of The Job:To be the continuous improvement driver of the Metallurgical process through reporting on and analysing production performance, making recommendations and implementing projects.SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT, RISK, QUALITY AND COMMUNITY
- Manage SHEQ compliance within the Section through effective use of the Toolbox
- Utilise the Information Management System (IMS) to initiate, investigate and report SHEQ related matters
- Achieve process quality
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Update Process Strategy
- Implement Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) findings
- Achieve process budget
- Implement improvement projects
- Manage Continuous Improvement through Operational Excellence
- Monitor and control section costs
- Safety Leadership
- Innovation
- Planning, Organising & Control
- Results Orientation
- Problem Solving & Decision Making
- Relating & Networking
- Change Leadership
- Business Acumen
- Metallurgical or Chemical/Process Engineering Degree/Diploma
- Pyrometallurgy as elective subject will be advantageous
- 4 years' experience on a supervisory level in the FeCr or Pyrometallurgy environment
