Job Summary A leading consumer goods manufacturing company based in Saldanha, Western Cape. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Process Technologist to join our team and contribute to the continuous improvement and optimization of our manufacturing processes.Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement efficient and effective manufacturing processes to improve product quality and production efficiency
- Monitor and analyze production operations to identify areas for optimization and cost reduction
- Conduct trials and experiments to test new processes and technologies
- Develop and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all manufacturing processes
- Provide technical support and training to production staff to ensure consistent execution of processesRequirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Experience with process design and optimization techniques
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
