- Supervise and coordinate the processing operations in the designated area.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
- Oversee the scheduling of production activities to meet deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of production and quality control metrics.
- Train and develop processing staff to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot any operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimise overall production processes.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a processing environment.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of processing technologies and equipment.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities.
- Team leadership and coaching capabilities.
- Knowledge of FSSC and HACCP essential
- Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Additional certifications in health and safety management.
- Work primarily in a processing plant environment.
- May require occasional weekend or evening work to oversee production activities.
- Exposure to loud noises, machinery, and potential hazards.
