Job Description
Vacancy exists for Processing Technician: Plasma Quality Release
Components Department (Paterson Grade B2)
Main Purpose:
Checking, labelling and packing of final product prior to issue, maintaining traceability of the products destined for patient use. Rotates plasma product inventory to maintain a system of FIFO where possible. Removes and discards unsuitable blood products.
Minimum Requirements
Matric Certificate Medical Technician/ Laboratory Assistant qualification in Blood Transfusion/ currently undergoing training. 1 Year relevant experience Registration with HPCSA (Preferable) Computer literate Driver's license (Preferable)
