We also provide operations and maintenance, asset management, metering and monitoring services through our various divisions.As we continue to expand our operations and our expertise in battery energy storage solutions (BESS) and maintain our status as the leading C&I IPP, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement and Supply Chain Analyst to join our team.PURPOSEThe Procurement and Supply Chain Analyst, reporting directly to the Head of Procurement and Supply Chain, will support the procurement function by assisting with spend analysis, reviewing controls and processes to ensure compliance, vetting suppliers, sourcing new suppliers, managing vendor relationships, and identifying potential opportunities for procurement savings. • General ERP knowledge, specific knowledge of SAP B1 will be an advantage but is not essential

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• More than 3 years experience in procurement and supply chain, preferably within the renewable energy sector or similar industries.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIESSpend Analysis

• Assist in analyzing company spending patterns to identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Help develop and maintain spend analysis reports and dashboards, providing insights into spending trends and procurement performance.
• Continuously review, correct, and ensure high data integrity in the system, while assessing and implementing processing improvements for accurate data and analysis.
• Utilize data analytics tools to support tracking, measurement, and reporting on procurement metrics.
• Analysis of the total cost of items from landed costs, storage, insurance and to identify potential opportunities to reduce these costs.

Procurement Savings Identification

• Assist in identifying and implementing strategies for cost reduction and procurement savings.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support cost-saving initiatives.
• Audit the validity of negotiated savings as well as the accuracy of the amount of the saving
• Track and report on the financial impact of savings initiatives and procurement

Review of Controls and Processes

• Support regular reviews of procurement processes and controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify gaps and weaknesses in current procurement and supply chain processes and suggest improvements.

Supplier Vetting and Sourcing

• Help evaluate and vet potential suppliers to ensure they meet company standards for quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Assist in sourcing and onboarding new suppliers to expand the companys supply base and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Conduct basic supplier audits and assessments to ensure ongoing compliance and performance.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities and supplier information.

Vendor Management

• Support the maintenance of strong relationships with existing suppliers and vendors.
• Monitor supplier performance and assist in addressing any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
• Help negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible pricing and service levels.

Cost management and reporting

• Conduct cost analysis and develop strategies to reduce procurement and supply chain costs.
• Monitor market trends and pricing to ensure competitive procurement and supply chain practices.
• Work with finance and accounting teams to manage budgets and forecast procurement and supply chain needs.
• Assist the Head of Procurement and Supply Chain in setting budgets and developing appropriate presentation for the executive team.
• Accountable for updating negotiated purchase prices and contract adherence

Process Optimization

• Manage the entire purchase order (PO) process, including tracking, monitoring amendments, and resolving discrepancies to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
• Conduct cost analysis and develop strategies to reduce procurement and supply chain costs.
• Monitor market trends and pricing to ensure competitive procurement and supply chain practices.
• Work with finance and accounting teams to manage budgets and forecast procurement and supply chain needs.
• Assist the Head of Procurement and Supply Chain in setting budgets and developing appropriate presentation for the executive team.
