Job Description


The successful candidate will be responsible for
- The timeous ordering of all stock required for internal and external customers
- Creating beneficial relationships with suppliers
- Ensuring all stock requirements are metDuties
- Prepare POs and send to suppliers
- Provide regular feedback around order status, changes or cancellations
- Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries
- Regular contact with suppliers around back orders and stock ETAs
- Ensure POs are accurate
- Track the status of orders
- Check deliveries of stock and resolve inconsistencies
- Monitor inter-warehouse stock movement and ensure documents and paperwork are in order
- Monthly stock takes within prescribed timelines
- Stock take variances investigated and reconciled within prescribed deadlines
- System housekeeping
- Responding to internal and external customers within the prescribed timelinesEducation and Work Experience
- Matric Certificate
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Minimum 3 year in a procurement role
- Has worked on BPO [advantageous]Skill Set
- Computer literate
- Excellent communication skills [both verbal and written]
- Proactive, organised and able to multitask
- Contributes positively to team and company values, culture and customer experience
