The ideal candidate should possess matric and or equivalent qualification, and a degree qualification in either accounting or procurement, supply chain/ Logistics.
A minimum of 2 years' experience in planning or procurement role in FMCG/ Manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office will be an added advantage.
Be experienced in stock reconciliations, must be figure orientated, have the ability to investigate and do problem solving.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferably the candidate must present a good knowledge on ERP, Business Central (BC) and have knowledge of the Chep portfolio system.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
The successful candidate will manage inventory levels in the PPE store and pallet pool.
Ensure adherence to established processes with PPE and pallet system, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Conduct monthly reconciliations of PPE and pallets, investigating and resolving any discrepancies
Maintain accurate master data for PPE, ensuring adherence to data integrity and that all modifications are promptly recorded across all systems, including (HR, PPE & BC)
Oversee departmental attendance and ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
Manage follow-ups on disputes and forced pallet documents.
Facilitate daily ordering of pallets, track returns and credits, and process invoices efficiently.
Ensuring the timely availability of goods to meet operational needs (PPE & Pallets).
