RPO Recruitment's client is a mining company operating in Northern Cape, South Africa. They are seeking a motivated Procurement Coordinator to join their team.Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the procurement process for various mining equipment and supplies
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers
• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs
• Monitor and analyze market trends and supplier performance
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the procurement process

Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Diploma or Degree in Economics/Accounting/Supply Chain related discipline
• Minimum 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in the Procurement/Commercial/ Sourcing & Purchasing environment in the mining industry
• Must reside in the Northern Cape
• Knowledge of the mining industry and related equipment
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software
• Valid driver's license
