Procurement Manager Tissue ManufacturingExperience: Procurement in tissue manufacturing or similar environment (must-have)About the Role:A leading manufacturer and distributor of tissue products is looking for a Procurement Manager to oversee the purchasing of goods, materials, and services. This role ensures operational efficiency, cost savings, and supplier performance while maintaining the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Supplier & Contract Management: Negotiate contracts, build strong supplier relationships, and ensure cost-effective procurement.
Strategic Procurement: Implement sourcing policies, analyze pricing, and drive cost-reduction initiatives.
Operational Efficiency: Ensure continuous supply of materials, monitor supplier performance, and manage procurement-related issues.
ERP & Data Analysis: Utilize ERP systems for procurement planning, maintain accurate records, and analyze reports to optimize purchasing.
Risk & Compliance Management: Vet supplier pricing, enforce quality control, and mitigate vendor risks.Requirements:Education: Relevant Manufacturing/Engineering degree (preferred)
Experience:
- Proven procurement experience in tissue manufacturing or a similar industry (must-have)
- Contract management & supplier development experience
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Skills: Strong negotiation, problem-solving, data analysis, and stakeholder management
