Our Client is looking for a vibrant Procurement Manager, in and around East Rand area. The incumbent would need to know import logistics, freight forwarding and custom clearance incoterms requirements.Our Client is looking for a vibrant Procurement Manager to join their management team, in and around East Rand area. The incumbent would need to know import logistics, freight forwarding and custom clearance incoterms requirements.Job Function:
- Procure raw materials, generic packaging materials and factory consumables based on the agreed procurement policy.
- Liaise with relevant cross functional departments to maintain excellent supplier relationships.
- Manage the full end to end import of raw materials (where necessary).
- Monitor the on-time delivery of all orders to support stock holding policies, production demand and just in time manufacture.
- Support Quality in resolving identified non-conformances on suppliers & arrange replacement of rejected stock.
- Assist with maintaining the integrity of stock control by coordinating with the warehouse monthly cycle counts, half and full year stock counts.Qualification and Experience:
- 8-10 years experience in procurement with FMCG/ Manufacturing company
- 2 - 3 years management experience will be beneficial
- Degree in Accounting, Supply Chain Management or similarShould you not be contacted within two weeks from submission to take it as declined for now.
