Job Description

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing all procurement activities within their organisation. Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimising my clients procurement processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organisational goals and objectives.
• Manage the procurement process from sourcing to contract negotiation and supplier relationship management.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide strategic advice and support.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and vendor consolidation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and analyse market trends and conditions to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement professionals to enhance departmental effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in supply chain management, Business Administration or Law would be preferred.
• Proven experience in procurement management, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving cost savings and favourable contract terms.
• Excellent understanding of procurement processes, including strategic sourcing and vendor management.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in procurement.
• Ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
