Job Description

Responsible for the leadership, governance, and strategic management and directing the Supply Chain Function within Rustenburg Chrome Mine. Responsibilities Responsible for sourcing required goods and services for the mine using "Best Practices", and leveraging maximum value for the mine. Implementation of the Company's Procurement and Stores Policies and Procedures effectively. Enforce contracting procedures, standard documentation, and processes. Effective negotiation with suppliers and service providers to achieve cost savings. Standardize procurement processes. Enhance Procurement to Payment process. Achieve synergies across the mine and conduct strategic vendor assessments. Ensure procurement governance alignment. Achieve Balanced Scorecard objectives. Prepare tender documents, co-ordinate adjudication, and negotiate terms. Conduct Supplier audits for compliance Drive down the total cost of ownership for the company. Implement and manage Service Level Agreements Analyse spending and identify opportunities for improvement. Develop and implement Procurement and Contract Management Policies Manage all aspects of vendor strategy to support the mine, including vendor selection, compliance, and performance. Perform procurement analyses and reporting to assist departmental managers to track and monitor performance.
