Procurement Specialist / Buyer Bellville Cape TownOur manufacturing client in Bellville Cape Town is looking for a Technical Buyer / Procurement specialist with 5 years plus solid experience. You will be responsible assessing raw material / stock / products.Salary NegotiableMin RequirementsMatric with tertiary education in Supply Chain or procurementUp to 5 years experience coming from a raw manufacturing process environmentExtensive knowledge of ERP systemsBe technically strong in the sense of codes and specificationsResponsibilitiesResponsible for sourcing goods and otherPerform research on different products and servicesAnalyze the cost of procuring and selling the productMonitor inventory and negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendorsPerform procurement coordination including strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management and risk management.Implement trading agreements/protocolsAppraise vendor manufacturing ability through on-site visits and measurements.Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.Manage product quality - ensure product meets the original purchase.Apply onlineFrogg Recruitment
