Job Description
Our client is a logistics company, specialising in road transportation of goods including fuel, into Africa. Seeking a procurement and co-ordinator , to oversee the procurement of truck spares, consumables, PPE, stationary and other goods. this person will also be responsible for stock controlDuties:
- PROCUREMENT:
- Procurement of transport related goods
- Orders and supplier coordination / negotiation
- Procurement planning
- Liaison with insurance companies regarding accident claims
- STOCK CONTROL
- Receive and issue stock to branches
- Stock takes
- PPE and tyre management
- OTHER:
- Breakdowns and workshop coordination
- Third party repairs
- Scheduling repairs of vehicles
