As a Tender Administrator you will be responsible for the administration and coordination of tenders starting from sourcing of advertised tenders, reviewing of the initial request, managing the tender process up to submitting the final bid to the purchaser.
The ideal candidate should be an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with an ability to manage multiple priorities from an administration background. The successful candidate should possess a great attention to detail, strong interpersonal, highly computer literate and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinating the completion of tender documentation by liaising with a wide range of roles within the organisation such as legal, sales, technical and other relevant stakeholders
Preparing written tender proposals if required
Reviewing contractual terms and conditions and tender documentation to identify specific requirements and red flags
Ensuring that all documents are accurate, up to date, signed (if required) and provided in a timely manner
Identify compliance documents requested for the procurement procedure and ensure their validity before submission
Combining all the necessary documentation and reviewing the formats to ensure compliance with purchaser requirements
Ensuring the submissions are made in time and assist with final submission of the tender if required
Building and maintaining company tender documentation library
Establish and manage a library of legal documents, translations, case studies, technical requirements and bid responses.
Conducting won/lost analyses and identifying best practices to win bids.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be fluent in spoken and written English
Diploma (NFQ 6) or applicant with experience working in administrative support ideally from business development environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, set priorities, work independently, and perform under pressure.
