Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a dedicated and detail-oriented Product Accountant to join their team in Cape Town. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is ready to take ownership of key financial processes.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily banking processes and bank reconciliations.
- Validate and submit daily trade orders.
- Complete account reconciliations for unit recons and capture.
- Price funds on the platform daily and manage new fund loads.
- Validate and process distributions.
- Prepare quarterly statutory reporting, including SARB Asset Allocation, Retail, and Institutional splits, and CBR & C48.
- Conduct annual Reg28 reporting.
- Prepare month-end packs for products and draft financial statements for retirement funds on CaseWare.
- Compile audit packs for annual audits on life and retirement products.
- Handle PAYE reconciliations and payments.
- Reconcile and submit SARS submission files for IRP5/IT3/RA reporting.
- Manage DWT/IWT reconciliations, payments, and submissions to SARS.
- Process annual CGT deductions and payments.Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of 2 years of LISP experience with strong fund accounting knowledge in retirement and life products.
- Relevant tertiary qualification: B. Com Accounting / Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting.
