What you will get up to:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Consultant/Fleet Manager. In this role, you will be supporting and fulfilling specific contractual commitments in a profitable manner. These commitments include specific deliverables in equipment management, production optimization, safety, sustainability, and financial performance.
You will have the opportunity to work directly with customers and dealers, executive management, plant management and equipment operators and have primary responsibility for managing the dealer partnership assuring strong relations and profitable dealer results.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Leading customer engagements and providing matrix leadership for contract execution.
Achieving alignment of various parties at caterpillar, dealers, and key end-user personnel.
Partnering with dealer personnel to direct the day-to-day activity related to contractual commitments at each site contract.
Successfully delivering on all areas of contractual commitments by utilizing a complete understanding of caterpillar and dealer capability.
Providing a clear vision for success and drive high levels of execution to achieve our commitments through your deep subject matter expertise in equipment management, production optimization, safety, sustainability, and financial structuring.
Providing and applying solutions to problems in a customer-working environment.
Skills you will have:
(A completed degree in engineering, and 5+ years Direct Field experience working with/for Caterpillar Dealers and/or Customers. Working knowledge of technology products, financial products, machines, product support, safety, and environment operations, preferably in the Mining industry)
Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.

Facilitates creation of the 'right' products and services to resolve customer business issues.
Fosters strong customer relationships via delivery on commitments, open communication, and on-going feedback/improvement.
Advises others on creating customer focused environments in various scenarios.
Anticipates customer needs, focusing efforts to proactively meet needs and exceed customer expectations.
Measures and observes customer satisfaction levels to ascertain and implement service improvement alternatives.
Communicates and models the criticality of customer focus as an organizational strategy.
Products and Services: Knowledge of major products and services and product and service groups; ability to apply knowledge of product and service appropriately to diverse situations.

Obtains information about product and service linkages with other products and services elsewhere in organization.
Researches the target market and how the product and services are sold and delivered.
Explains current status, delivery alternatives and announced updates to products and services.
Summarizes key features of major products or services in own unit.
Assesses own unit's product alternatives, costs, and pricing.

Level Extensive Experience:

Coaches' others on the application of 'value selling' principles and practices.
Delivers value-added services to customers beyond delivery of a purchased product, technology or service consistently.
Qualifies sales prospects based on a clear understanding of customer business needs and the service company's determined ability to meet those needs.
Solicits feedback from the customer community as a valued service provider.
Teaches and coaches 'value selling' to others within the organization.
