Product Development Chemist Industrial

Job Description
Our client in the in the industrial chemistry industry based in Midrand is looking for Product Development Chemist - Industrial with the experience below to join their team.In order to be considered the following is required:
- Minimum 4 year degree in Chemistry | Industrial Chemistry from a recognised university
- At least 10 years in managing a small chemical manufacturing plant and developing / formulating products for use in the industrial, institutional, food and beverage, laundry and dry cleaning, automotive, mining and agriculture industries
- Technical knowledge of products such as sanitizers and disinfectants, general purpose cleaners, laundry and dry cleaning detergents, bottle washing alkalis, conveyor lubricants, abattoir cleaners and disinfectants, consumer household cleaners and disinfectants, automotive cleaners, polishes and deodorises
- Knowledge and experience in the following would be an advantage:
- Microbiology
- Quality management Systems
- Registration of disinfectants to the NRCS VC 8054 specification
- Developing products to a specific SANS specification, to obtain an SABS product certification mark
