Product Owner - Data & Credit Product/Project management
Stellenbosch - Western CapeENVIRONMENT:SERVE as a driving force to ensure timeous quality implementations while defining, prioritizing & delivering changes as the next Product Owner sought by a fast-growing FinTech company with a footprint on the African continent. The ideal candidate must be conscientious and have a natural curiosity to learn how things work and a passion for Africa and willingness to work in the developing world context. Candidates must have at least 2+ years suitable work experience as a Product Owner or Business/Systems Analyst or other proof of relevant abilities and have experience writing SQL database queries.DUTIES:

• You will be the Product Owner for -

• Credit products
• System implementation of the credit policy, credit scoring and provisioning
• System data
• Define, prioritize and deliver changes.
• Be a driving force to ensure timeous quality implementations. Get involved wherever required.
• Ensure user adoption is achieved.
• Perform root cause analysis on issues experienced.
• Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, primarily the Data and Credit teams.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ Years of relevant work experience (Product Owner, Business / System Analyst) and / or any other proof of relevant abilities.
• Experience in writing SQL database queries.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using logical pragmatic reasoning.
• Attention to detail.
• A concern for order, quality and accuracy. A meticulous approach to work.
• Fast and self-learning abilities.
• Result orientation and eager to work hard and smart.
• Great communication skills.
• Passion for Africa and willingness to work in the developing world context.
