Provides technical input and assistance with queries. Provides on-site product support and may be required to carry out basic maintenance on-site.What will make you successful in this role?Job purposeAn exciting opportunity has become available for a self-driven individual, to be responsible for supporting the Product Management team and the business with technical product related queries relating to product management and product enhancements.Key OutcomesThe following outcomes will be expected to be achieved by the Product Support Consultant:

  • Work with the product management team to provide product support and assistance to the business.
  • Assist the business with product-related technical queries, identify root causes and derive resolutions.
  • Assist with updating product guides and/or internal training material for both LISP and Life Investments
  • Provide special new business quotes.
  • Monitoring and effecting change as required around TCF, product governance and compliance
  • Contributing to the product development process in terms of idea generation, challenging thinking and
process clarification.
  • Keep up to date with new product developments and existing product enhancements to enhance the support to the business
  • Updating of outsourcing and binder agreements and making sure we adhere and comply with all legal and compliance requirements for all products and services (Life Investments and LISP)
Qualifications and experience
  • Relevant commercial or financial qualification (or studying towards)
  • Certificate for Wealth Management 1,2 and 3 will be to your advantage
  • 3 to 4 years' experience in a related role in financial services (such as a product support role)
  • Computer literacy (MS Office)
  • Product and process knowledge of the Glacier Life products
  • Excellent knowledge of the Glacier LISP products and processes
  • A sound product and process knowledge of Glacier International, will be to your advantage
  • Experience in drafting contracts
