Job Description
RPO Recruitment is currently hiring for the position of Production Engineer for a leading mining company located in the North West province. As a Production Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and improving production processes to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity.Responsibilities
- Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure product conformity.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in mining operations.
- National Diploma/Bachelors Degree in Metallurgy
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a Chrome operation
- Have sound knowledge of SHEQ legal requirements and legislation.
- Experience with production optimization and process improvement
- Strong knowledge of mining operations and production processes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in the mining industry.
- Salary: Negotiable
