Job Description

1. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Includes the following but is not limited to:Employee will work as a Production Engineer as part of the Hardware team.Scope of work will include:

• Act as a key liaison between suppliers and developers, facilitating effective communication on critical issues including but not limited to engineering design changes;
• Play a key role in Development / R&D procurement-related activities;
• Produce and update cost estimates for development activities to contribute to the companys budgeting process;
• Provide support for product owners to keep data packs updated;
• Create and maintain packaging artifacts as required;
• Review procedure documents from a production perspective and actively contribute to their improvement and optimization;
• Develop and execute verification procedures, including Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP), Hardware Test Procedures (HTP) and Qualification Test Procedures (QTP);
• Perform minor support roles within the company, as required.

2. REQUIREMENTS:

• BTech Degree / Advanced Diploma in Electronic Engineering or related disciplines.
• Industry experience in an electro-mechanical production environment; and
• Familiarity with an industry-standard ERP, ideally Odoo.

Recommended Skills and Experience:

• 2-3 years' experience in an electronic assembly production environment;
• Familiarity with production procedures and documentation;
• Knowledge of verification procedures (ATP, HTP, QTP) is desirable;
• Mechanical design skills and experience with packaging artifacts are advantageous;
• Ability to learn fast and absorb new information quickly;
• Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate on large projects;
• Ability to work independently;
• Strong problem-solving skills; and
• High standard of communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
