Job Description
Job Title: Production Engineer - Mining Industry - NWRPO Recruitment's client is seeking a skilled and experienced Production Engineer to join their team in the mining industry in the North West region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mining operations and production, with a focus on optimizing processes and maximizing efficiency.Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and oversee mining operations to ensure optimal production levels
- Monitor production processes and make recommendations for improvements
- Implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize production efficiency
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize production and reduce downtime
- Analyze data and reports to track production performance and identify areas for improvement
- Provide technical support and guidance to production teams
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve production processes
- National Diploma/Bachelors Degree in Metallurgy
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a Chrome operation
- Have sound knowledge of SHEQ legal requirements and legislation.
- Experience with production optimization and process improvement
- Strong knowledge of mining equipment, processes, and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Salary: Negotiable
