RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review technical specifications and assembly drawings. (Technical specs, manuals, codes & regulations, engineering drawings).
Planning in terms of procurement, material- and tool resources, testing and documentation.
Production of detailed written work instructions for manufacture and installation of products.
Manage product realization activities in terms of on time delivery, within budget and correct quality.
Testing.
Commissioning.
Documentation: Ensure all relevant documentation for a product or system, must be completed in time.
Ensure that products safely packed before delivery.
Liaise with Design Department regarding any design-related problems that were found during manufacturing.

REQUIREMENTS:

Ability in using ERP system for execution of Production jobs and Projects.
A National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of 3 years experience in a related industry.
Ability to work closely with other departments ensuring that production deadlines are met.
Above average skills in the full MS Office suite.
A basic knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks and ERP software will be advantageous.
Ability to do report writing (ISO, OHSA).
