Job Description

With a degree in Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of Production Management experience, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our manufacturing strategy, aligning it with the overall business strategy, and driving operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include overseeing production planning, optimising manufacturing processes, and ensuring efficient resource utilisation.

You will be required to provide strategic guidance to all production operations lead, organise, monitor and control all production operations and processes to achieve production & organisational targets.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Chemical/ Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
• 5 years of Production Management experience
• Automotive industry experience

• Develop medium to long-term manufacturing strategy for the plant.
• Assist in developing operational strategy.
• Align plant manufacturing strategy with overall business strategy.
• Provide Strategic and Change Leadership to the Manufacturing Function and Teams.
• Achieve/exceed the annual Manufacturing Operational Plan goals.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor production, including sales forecasts, requirements, stock levels, and maintenance needs.
• Oversee production planning and approve Production Plans.
• Analyse and interpret production statistics/data for improvement opportunities.
• Deliver operational results according to department plans and budgets.
• Optimize manufacturing processes and ensure efficient use of plant and production resources.
• Compile Production Reports
• Participate, present & report on all Production issues at review meetings
• Monitor the achievement of daily production targets
• Manage labour complement and stability in line with the budget
