Job Summary Sheetmetal manufacturer in George, Western Cape is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team. The Production Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating all production activities to ensure efficient and timely production of specialist Sheet-metal products. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and technical skills to meet production targets and maintain high quality standards. Responsibilities Oversee and manage all production processes, including raw material planning, ISO 9001 QMS, HR Processes and ensuring production targets are met. Develop production schedules and ensure timely delivery of products to meet customer demand. Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency. Manage and optimize raw material inventory to minimize waste and production costs. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards. Train, mentor, and supervise production staff to ensure high performance and teamwork. Coordinate with other departments, such as sales, procurement, and do maintenance, to streamline production processes and resolve any issues that may arise. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production performance and quality standards.
