Job Description
Minimum Requirements:
- Relevant Production and Manufacturing qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years experience within a similar role.
- Minimum of 3 years experience within a Supervisory role.
- Environmental Protection Agency knowledge.
- Occupational Safety and Health administration regulations knowledge.
- Working with Designers, Quality Surveyors, Project Managers, Finance team and clients.
- Meeting and assessing client requirements and desires through collaboration with involved team members.
- Researching and maintaining a working knowledge of trends and new developments in the interior design and architecture worlds.
- Assisting with all administrative paperwork required for production and manufacturing departments.
- Motivating, supporting and providing guidance to production team.
- Ensuring all safety and health standards are met to keep an organisation accident-free.
- Communicating regularly with management regarding problems or issues impacting production.
- Evaluating machine resource to ensure continued production and minimal downtime.
- Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations.
- Developing workflow policies and procedure that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.
- Ensure adequate scheduling of staff.
- Submitting of daily and weekly reports to give regular communication on tasks.
