A well-established entity in Johannesburg South is seeking a dynamic Production Manager to lead its dedicated team.
Renowned for delivering exceptional turnkey design solutions tailored for the African market, the company specialises in shopfitting and carpentry, consistently providing high-quality projects that enhance aesthetic appeal.
The ideal candidate will oversee the entire production process and should have a background in manufacturing, carpentry, or shopfitting.Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant Production and Manufacturing qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years experience within a similar role.
• Minimum of 3 years experience within a Supervisory role.
• Environmental Protection Agency knowledge.
• Occupational Safety and Health administration regulations knowledge.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working with Designers, Quality Surveyors, Project Managers, Finance team and clients.
• Meeting and assessing client requirements and desires through collaboration with involved team members.
• Researching and maintaining a working knowledge of trends and new developments in the interior design and architecture worlds.
• Assisting with all administrative paperwork required for production and manufacturing departments.
• Motivating, supporting and providing guidance to production team.
• Ensuring all safety and health standards are met to keep an organisation accident-free.
• Communicating regularly with management regarding problems or issues impacting production.
• Evaluating machine resource to ensure continued production and minimal downtime.
• Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations.
• Developing workflow policies and procedure that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.
• Ensure adequate scheduling of staff.
• Submitting of daily and weekly reports to give regular communication on tasks.
