Job Description
Port Shepstone Area xe2x80x93 KwaZulu Natal: Our client is looking for a Production Manager to join the team.The suitably experienced/qualified person would be responsible for the daily planning, organization, supervision and administration of all production activities across the banana and macadamia farming operationsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant agricultural qualification
- At least 2-years relevant farming experience in a managerial position
- Proven track record in managing a large team (65+)
- Experience with banana and macadamia farming
- Computer literate
- Experience in applying a disciplinary code and conducting hearings
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong admin and record keeping skills, good in problem solving & good interpersonal relationship
- Maintenance and mechanically orientated
- Valid driverxe2x80x99s license
- Preparation of workforce plans and schedules
- Effective management of staff against performance and quality standards
- Implementation and adherence of staff to health and safety regulations
- Implementation of regenerative farming practices across the farm
- Maintenance of records and documentation
