Production Manager - UpingtonFull job descriptionPRODUCTION MANAGERSouthern Farms, an established farm located in the Augrabies, Northern Cape area, is looking for a young, energetic, self-driven person with at least 3 years experience in the cultivation of table grapes.General management of table grape farming, production, and product qualityIrrigation, fertilization, chemical application, administration, and record keepingPersonnel management, employee training and development and labour planningPack house responsibilities that include preparation, training, quality management, cold roomcontrol, packing materials etc.Maintenance of infrastructure, operational equipment and implementsManagement of annual budget (labour, chemicals, fertilization, etc.)Matric with a relevant agricultural qualificationAt least 3 years management and pack house experienceExcellent human relations and communication skillsBasic mechanical and technical knowledgeComputer literate (MS Office)Ability to work independently and function well under pressure
