Plan, cost, implement and manages customer projects, according to Order Management standards, procedures, and processes, and ensures proper Order Management operations, for assigned organizations, plants, or sites. Performs the short-term and mid-term production plans. Costing, estimating, and scheduling materials, the human resources, tools, and equipment needed for the Project to ensure OTD and cost effectiveness.
How You'll Make an Impact
Clarifies customers' requirements and SOW (scope of work) with Sales, and/or specification in request for quotation(RFQ)
Prepares costing and timelines for submission of quotation
Coordinates overall planning of the project and decides on allocation of resources
Clarifies specification and continuously liaise with accountable Client Managers Internal.
Monitors milestone and adherence to cost and timelines (on time delivery)
Maintains constant communication to Client Managers, outside contractors or other stakeholders
Maintain forecast accuracy in terms of cost and on time delivery

What You Bring
Minimum Grade 12 or Equivalent Tertiary qualification
Must have a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
5-10 years relevant work experience within heavy engineering in a Job-shop environment
Exposure to CNC, conventional lathes machines and milling machines is essential.
Exposure to Turbines, compressors, manufacturing, and refurbishment is essential.
Must have a proven track record of driving efficiency and full utilization of machinery and personnel.
Both advanced practical and theoretical understanding and some significant advanced vocational experience is required to oversee and manage the diverse and relatively complex tasks within the manufacturing environment
