Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for pharmaceutical manufacturing? Join our dynamic team as a Production Pharmacist Assistant - Document Administrator!Office based position - Cape TownMUST be registered with SAPC as a qualified Pharmacist Assistant.Job Purpose: As a Document Controller, you will manage the workflow and record-keeping of both electronic and hard copy documents within our production department. Your role is crucial in ensuring that production batching records and logbooks are accurate and that stock is released on time.Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and correct documents before submission for lot release.
  • Utilize an electronic document management system to track and address departmental errors.
  • Check and correct batch records live on the production floor.
  • Coach teams on good documentation practices for batch records.
  • Track and ensure right-first-time and on-time release of documents.
  • Prepare and update document control procedures for production.
  • Ensure departments follow correct procedures in the document flow process.
Specific Requirements:
  • Manufacturing experience, preferably in pharmaceuticals.
Other Features of the Job:
  • Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Understanding of quality compliance and batch records documentation.
  • Familiarity with IPC procedures.
Job Requirements:
  • Registered with SAPC as a qualified Pharmacist Assistant.
  • 2-3 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
  • Supervisory experience/qualification is an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the SA cGMP Guide.
  • Strong planning and administrative skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Logical approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting.
  • High work standards and business ethics.
  • Availability to work shifts if required.
