Production Planner

Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa

Reporting to the Customer Services Team Leader, the successful applicant will be responsible for the following: (amongst other duties)

xc2xa7 Issue weekly production schedules for production requirements
xc2xa7 Ensuring there is sufficient finished goods stock to fulfill orders, and reorder levels are maintained
xc2xa7 Manage Slow and Dead stock levels within parameters
xc2xa7 Coordinate intercompany sales and purchasing
xc2xa7 Advising raw materials of any exceptions that may be necessary for new products or changes of products
xc2xa7 Liaise with Stores & Distribution regarding service efficiencies
xc2xa7 Place orders with direct suppliers and manage stock levels accordingly
xc2xa7 Advising on any machine (capacity) requirements for future
xc2xa7 Long term planning of production capacity in plant
xc2xa7 Assisting with utilization budget process
