OverviewPosition: Production PlannerHire Resolves client is seeking a skilled Production Planner to join their team in Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal. The ideal candidate will have experience in production planning, inventory management, and scheduling in a manufacturing environment.Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and maximise production efficiency
• Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed to ensure on-time delivery of products
• Analyse production data and trends to identify areas for improvement and cost savings
• Coordinate with suppliers, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and components
• Maintain accurate inventory records and track production levels to prevent stockouts and excess inventory
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on production plans and schedules
• Provide regular updates on production status, performance, and issues to management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in production planning in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in ERP systems and production scheduling software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
