Job Description

Westfalia Fruit Products, situated in Kempton Park (Ripe for you), has a permanent vacancy for a suitably qualified and experienced Production Supervisor.Reporting to Operations Manager, the successful incumbent will be responsible for assisting the Operations Manager in the management of the Ripe for you facility, assist in actioning all necessary procedures and protocols, executing and maintaining health and safety, food safety policies, production and also productivity management.Qualifications/Experience:

• Matric, qualification in production
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisor role
• Must be able to handle extensive administrative activities related to production
• Valid driver's license and own transport

Knowledge:

• Fresh Produce knowledge is essential, added advantage (Avocado and Mango handling experience)
• Knowledge on stock control is essential
• Production planning knowledge
• Sound knowledge of production fundamentals
• Administrative activities related to production.
• Advanced computer literacy (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
• HR / IR knowledge essential
• Time and attendance
• Disciplinary procedure
