Job Title: Production Supervisor Fleet Systems - Mining IndustryLocation: Northern Cape, South AfricaResponsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the operation of fleet systems within the mining industry in the Northern Cape region
• Supervise a team of fleet operators and technicians to ensure efficient and effective operation of mining equipment
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize fleet performance, ensure equipment availability, and minimize downtime
• Monitor fleet systems data and KPIs to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule and prioritize repairs and preventative maintenance tasks
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate fleet movements and optimize production schedules
• Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Provide leadership and guidance to fleet operators, technicians, and other personnel to promote a positive and productive work environment
• Prepare and maintain operational reports, performance metrics, and other documentation as required by management

Requirements:

• National Diploma in Mining Engineering, or a related field
• Open Cast Blasting Certificate
• Supervisory Certificate
• Minimum 4 years' operational surface Mining Production /Control Room experience
• Minimum of 3 year operational in-depth technical Dispatch system experience
• At least 2 years' supervisory experience
• Knowledge of fleet management software and systems, including GPS tracking, telematics, and maintenance scheduling tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices within the mining industry
