Responsible for the planning, directing, and coordinating of the operations of staff and coordinate the activities of production and operating worker to ensure that production is achieved as cost-effectively as possible and according to client quality specifications.
Identify tasks as required by the nature of our work Environment/Plant.
Elimination and reduction of dust within the environment of the crushing plant.
Monitor the ongoing efficiency of the plant dust suppression spray system.
Ongoing maintenance of the dust suppression system.
Ongoing pro-active improvement of the dust suppression system.
Ongoing improvement of walkways and guards.
General housekeeping.
Individuals should be familiar with the Operators manual of each machine. Production reports completed after each shift and submitted to Foreman.
Practice key control.
Sign off of all pre-start checklists for operational staff.
Conduct risk assessments with team members and identify hazards and mitigate by means of control measures.
Reporting and recording all deviations of plants during shifts.
Elimination and reduction of spillage within plant.
Schedule maintenance on crushing plants.
Ongoing Safety Management.
Ensure all machinery is positively Guarding.
General maintenance of Walkways, hand rails and Platforms, stairs.
Inspections of wear and build up on chute liners, transfer chutes, drop boxes.
Give tasks to employees, and provide guidance to team to ensure that work is completed.
Monitoring and coordinating all aspects of production.
Minimum Grade 12
A minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory position.
5 Years experience working on a mobile crushing plant.
A recognised Supervisory / Leadership Program Certificate or studying towards one.

ICAM Certificate
