Production Team Leader - SpringsFunctional area: ProductionOnsite or Remote: OnsitePrimary Skills:Country/Region: ZACity: SpringsLocation: Springs, GT, ZA, 1577Company name: Epiroc South Africa (Pty) LtdDate of posting: Jan 26, 2024Key Responsibilities Time and AttendanceDiscipline and adherence to company rules and regulationsEnsure that employees comply to QSHE policiesDraft a training plan for his/her subordinates that will fit in with the desired operational requirements i.e. C of CEnsure that production operations are carried out as per companys production manufacturing specificationsEnsure that quality is not compromised.Drive continuous improvement (Kaizen)Adhere to a production schedule to meet output requirementsOrders for consumables required are placed on timeFollow up on feedback for operations and make sure that its performed daily.Performing risk assessments (HIRA)Perform planed task observations (PTOs)Do Monthly QSHE shares with whole teamAdhere to 5 s rulesWilling to carry out any other function or duty as may be required in terms of The Way We Do ThingsExperience requirements5 years experience in manufacturing environment (Machine and welding shop)Good understanding of OHS and ISOCNC programming and setting knowledgeERP experienceGood understanding of welding processes Knowledge / Educational requirements 5 years experience in manufacturing environment (Machine and welding shop)National Diploma in production/operations management or engineering or Grade 12 with 5 years experience in supervisory positionComputer literate MS OfficeFanuc and Mazatrol knowledge will be an added advantageLean manufacturing principalsKaizen implementation skills Personality, skills other requirements Self-motivated and must be able to work independently and as part of a teamAble to work shifts/overtime when requiredQuality drivenMust be able to coach teach othersAdministration and organizational skillsExcellent interpersonal skills and relationsBe able to work under pressureBe proactive and accurateIs able to build strong & effective working relationships with colleaguesAbility to multitaskAbility to work with minimum supervisionUnited.
